Burst pipes, leaking ceilings, frozen mains and broken stop taps. We isolate the water, contain the damage, and put a permanent fix in the same visit where we can.
A plumbing emergency is mostly about minutes, not hours. The longer water is escaping, the more floor and ceiling you're replacing afterwards. Our job is to get there fast, find the actual stop tap, isolate the leak, and repair it properly so it doesn't go again the moment we leave.
Copper, plastic, multi-layer composite, lead and galvanised. We solder, push-fit or compression-fit depending on what's already there. Section replaced, pressure tested, signed off.
Most domestic emergencies are because the internal stop tap won't turn. We bring valve keys and external isolation tools, and replace seized stop taps once the immediate leak is dealt with.
Cold water tanks in the loft, hot water cylinders in the airing cupboard, and toilet cistern overflows are three of our most common call-outs. All fixable same visit on most jobs.
Lancashire winters do this every year. We thaw, identify the burst point if the pipe split during the freeze, and lag the surrounding run so it doesn't happen again next cold snap.
Phone is fastest for an emergency. The form is fine for a quote on lock upgrades, landlord arrangements or non-urgent maintenance.
